HOW  TO  EXPLAIN  SOME  CONTRADICTIONS  IN  THE  DERIVATION

OF  THE  BASIC  RELATIVISTIC  PHYSICAL  FORMULAS ?

This work  ( version FTC11 ) is  directed  to judgement, statement  and  consideration of those, who  the formulas  of the relativistic physics  in their research, usual  or pedagogi-cal practice use or to those, who are interested in relativistic physics at all.

Summary :

On the base of  the well known results of   A. A. Michelson´s  and  E. W. Morley´s  knowledge ( the principle ) of steady speed of light  „ the speed of  the light in inertial systems in vacuum will be measured the same without regard to observer´s move state “ was formulated.

On the base of  1 ) mentioned knowledge ( principle ) (  1887 ),

                         2 ) Lorentz´s Transformation of Co-ordinates ( 1902 ) and

                         3 ) Einstein´s Theory of Special Relativity ( 1905 ),

some following formulas of the relativistic physics was derived

for length contraction                                  l´ = l . ( 1 – v2 / c2 )1/2,

for time dilatation                                        t´ = t / ( 1 – v2 / c2 )1/2,

for relativistic mass                                     m´ = m  / ( 1 – v2 / c2 )1/2,

for mass and energy equivalence                E´ = m . c2 / ( 1 – v2 / c2 )1/2.

By the detailed analysis of the way of the derivation of mentioned formulas, we can find some contradictions, those would evoke higher attention. They form doubts  about correctness and valuability of mentioned relativistic physical formulas.
